About the role
The role of Corporate Services Support Officer reports to the Company's Finance Coordinator and Business Analyst. The purpose of the role is to provide varied clerical and technical support, primarily to the Corporate Services Team and on occassion to the wider business.
Duties include:
· Provision of first level information and communications technology support.
· Scanning and storage of accounts payable, employee payroll, practitioner payment, and various other pertinent financial documents (for example, HICAPS receipts, banking, etc.) to facilitate a transition to and maintenance of entirely digital records.
· Medicare and Department of Veterans Affairs claim lodgment.
· Aid in the realisation of efficiency initiatives that enhance the quality of service delivery and the reduction in operating costs (for example, the transition to transmitting dictated letters electronically to speed up transmission time and reduce postage and other related costs).
· In the absence (for example, as a result of leave) of the Business Analyst and Finance Coordinator, process payroll and practitioner payments to ensure no disruption in prompt payment.
· Answer over-flow phone calls when reception staff are not in a position to do so due to high call volumes or the like.
· Liaising with third-party organisations in relation to accounts receivable (for example, Workcover insurers).
· Undertake reviews of VIP data and identify areas for improvement to enhance data accuracy to facilitate increased reliance for managerial decisions.
· Aid in the development of policies and procedures to facilitate the realisation of implementing a quality management system and attaining external accreditation in this regard.
· Coordinate the revitalisation of premises (for example, repairing plaster, re-painting, moving electrical points into safe and convenient areas, carpet cleaning, etc.).
· Other tasks related to the provision of corporate services as directed.
Required qualification(s):
Diploma or bachelor degree in administration/business and/or information systems.

· Highly organised with the ability to multitask.
· Motivated, reliable and with a strong work ethic.
· Able to work efficiently and effectively, both autonomously and as a member of a team.
